Why Society Has Slightly Accepted Lesbianism 🌈

3 min read
Why is it OK for girls to be bisexual or homosexual, but not boys? If a girl kisses another girl, for whatever reason, and she finds that she likes it

Every question either has a simple answer or a long answer. I can easily answer this by saying society has easily accepted lesbianism because lesbianism appears sexy and it has well been packaged.

Everything in life depends on how well you packaged it. If you package any idea in the right way it can easily be bought. When it comes to lesbianism that’s what has happened. No one has been forced to accept it but from how it was presented to us we kinda gave it an OK 👌 signal for it to move on.

Films like RAFIKI had a major impact on our society. This wasn’t just an ordinary Kenyan movie. It defied the odds and showed us a picture of what it is like to be a lesbian in our society. The movie won the hearts of many people and garnered support from Kenyans and the world at large. As I like to say, it was well packaged thus we easily supported it.

“I kissed a girl and I liked it,” when Katy Perry sang about this, the song went on to become a hit song worldwide. If someone like Chris brown sang about “I kissed a nigga and liked it” no one would listen to that shit because it doesn’t seem right.

I have no problems with lesbians or gays. As a matter of fact I love lesbians and everything that they do or stand for. In your campus life I can guarantee that you will come across several gays and lesbians. If you are a girl a stud may approach you and hit on you. This things happen a lot. It’s just a matter of time before you run into one.

In my opinion every girl is bi-curious, given a good chance and reason you can all easily switch to being a lesbian.

Why is it OK for girls to be bisexual or homosexual, but not boys?

If a girl kisses another girl, for whatever reason, and she finds that she likes it – then things can happen, and things can change. If a young woman finds her soulmate, and her soulmate happens to be female, then she may begin to experience feelings she’s never felt before especially if all the men she knows are ‘trash’

Lesbianism has been easily accepted because it has become more easily visible in mainstream culture than homosexuality in men. If you see something for a long time you begin to accept it. Series like orange is the new black, bold type have made lesbianism cool.

The LGBT community has received support from a lot of people. Celebs such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Ruby Rose, Kristen Stewart, Angelina Jolie who identify themselves bisexual have really supported the LGBT movement.

If I’m watching a movie and there is a scene where two women are fucking, trust me I won’t skip or forward that scene. But if it was two guys kissing I would forward that part.

I have a friend who stopped watching Mr. Robot after seeing two guys fucking in the first episode. Homosexuality hasn’t been well packaged. Even ladies nowadays find lesbian porn arousing than gay porn. Research says any woman who claims to be straight and has never been into women will be aroused by watching a lesbian sex scene.

The only thing women like with gay men is some of them are extremely hot and that gay men make a good male friend or bff because they don’t want to fuck you.

Maybe a straight woman is just a woman who hasn’t yet met – the right woman – Dr. Menez

Recent surveys ( don’t ask me from where) of young women found out that roughly 15% of young females today self-identify as lesbian or bisexual, compared with about 5% of young males who identify as gay or bisexual.

Most women will identity as bisexual because the term bisexual seems ‘friendly’ and neutral. Identifying as a lesbian carries a lot of weight.

There is no need to label what you are or who you are. If you are a girl who likes girls who like girls then make your move. Don’t be defined or held back by society.

We live in a time where people are exploring their sexualities without feeling the need to label them.
