Hey Guys, Eating Pussy/Sucking Dick Can Lead To Throat Cancer.

Hey guys, Eating pussy/sucking dick can lead to throat cancer.

Everyday is a learning day, if you haven’t learnt anything today lemme educate y’all. For those who partake in pussy munching and dick gobbling here is something that you didn’t know.

I just found out about this and it’s crazy. After digging around here is what I uncovered.

This stuff made headlines a while back when one popular actor by the name Michael Douglas shocked the world by revealing that his throat Cancer was not caused by the typical agents of smoking and drinking, but by the asymptomatic STI HPV that he contracted from performing oral sex.

HPV is the most common STI affecting almost every sexually active person at least once during their lifetime (and yes you can catch it in your mouth from performing oral sex). There is no treatment for HPV and it has no symptoms, however, most cases of the Virus are fought off by the body’s immune system (the body fights it off the same way it fights off a cold or flu virus).

For the small number of cases that are not treated by the body’s immune system, the virus mutates the cells of the infected part of the body and turns into cancer, usually oral cancer, throat cancer or cervical cancer (it takes years for HPV to develop into cancer).

HPV and you

There are more than 100 variants of HPV, otherwise known as the human papilloma virus, and they appear in different parts of the body and manifest in different ways – some, for example, can cause warts (including genital warts), while in most cases most appear symptomless.

Some are spread simply by skin-to-skin contact, while others are typically spread during sex. It’s these latter types that are typically found in the mouth, suggesting that when HPV is found in the mouth, it probably got there as a result of oral sex. HPV can also be spread to the relevant areas through vaginal and anal sex.

HPV is really, really common – to the point that if you’re a sexually active adult, you’ve probably had it. By the age of 25, 90% of sexually active people will have been exposed to some form of genital HPV (whether high or low risk), almost none of whom will ever have had any visible warts or other symptoms.

Research from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health have been studying this shit for a while now. They uncovered some few stuffs. Let’s start with the bad news.

First the bad news—and you better sit down, because it’s really, really bad: If you and your girlfriend have had more than five oral-sex partners in your lives, you are both 250 percent more likely to develop throat cancer.

Before you panic let me clarify a few things.

Very few people infected with HPV will develop cancer. In 9 out of 10 cases, the infection is cleared naturally by the body within 2 years. So not every HPV exposure leads to infection, and not every HPV infection is lifelong.

Risk rate: men vs women

Giving oral sex to a woman is more risky than giving oral sex to a man. This is because the concentration of HPV in the thinner, moist skin of a woman’s genitals (the vulva) is much higher than the amounts in the thicker, dry skin of the penis. This could affect how easy it is to pass the virus on.

Bottomline

Sex is a risk which we are all comfortably willing to take. As with any pleasurable activity, sexual or otherwise, we weigh the risks against the benefits and make decisions. Smart people minimize their risks—by, say, using condoms for oral sex (har har)—but most sexually active adults are likely to conclude that the real and immediate pleasures of eating pussy or sucking dick are worth risking a distant and unlikely case of throat cancer.

Dear pussy-munchers, no throat cancer shall Scare us from giving our females the best head possible. If she’s serving we are eating. But then again thou shall not eat all pussies. More on this on another day.
